The GGC (Geometry, Groups, and Control) is a small research group based at Rhodes University in South Africa. ​Our primary areas of research are:
  • geometric structures on homogeneous spaces
  • Riemannian and semi-Riemannian geometry
  • geometry of foliations
  • manifolds with degenerate metrics
  • geometric control (on Lie groups)
  • sub-Riemannian and nonholonomic Riemannian geometry.
